King’s Grove, Peckham (2013)

This empty homes scheme is a conversion of a privately-owned 4-bed Victorian terraced house into a basement 1-bed flat and a 3-bed maisonette. All legal documents (lease, legal charge and building contract) have been signed and completed by both parties and we have submitted a planning application which is due to be determined in early April.

The two units will be managed by Housing for Women, a well-established housing association who have been providing homes for more than 75 years. They will be managing the property on completion as part of their programme to provide affordable homes for women in housing need. Grant from Southwark Council and the DCLG Community Grant Programme will be used to help with the overall budget for this scheme.
