Habitat for Humanity Homes has a long history of providing low-cost housing solutions enabling families to live in a decent home. The scale of homelessness, high rents, low quality unaffordable homes and a diverse urban context in London requires a collaborative approach to tackle the immediate and future housing needs in the capital and beyond.
We have a specific aim on all our projects to involve different sectors of society, to work together to benefit the wider community. By working at a local level, and having a flexible creative approach, we are able to create tailored solutions that bring people together to solve the housing or community need. This collaboration involves people directly in the process and delivery of affordable homes.
These partners can be loosely defined as:
- Registered Providers / Housing Associations
- Private Home Owners of Empty Homes
- Community Groups & Charities
- Training Providers
- Local Authorities
- Housing Organisations
